Mary Lee called me a few months ago asking if I could photograph her wedding at Eight Gables Inn, Gatlinburg.  It was a small wedding with just a few family members and friends, but what a nice group of folks.  These two folks getting together later in life reminded me of my Mom, after my Dad passed away, finding a guy named Guy and spending many happy years together.  They laughed and smiled every day, just like I saw ML & Dave doing.  If they only share half the happiness that Mom and Guy found they’ll have a wonderful life together.  I wish them that happiness and more.

I’m so happy that Mary Lee knew that she wanted this day documented and was willing to trust me to get the memories in the camera which will last for many years to come.  I think she’ll be happy with them…

If these folks look familiar it’s because they were just here for their engagement session. Good news is they were just as much fun, if not more so, the second time around!

Sara is so artistic.  She had all sorts of ideas for signs and treats for the guests, then made most of it herself.

These folks and their families are some of our favorites this year.  Maybe they’ll come back for a 1st anniversary session… we’d love that.
