Stephanie and Brad had a gorgeous snowy day in the mountains for their wedding day. It was fun getting to know them and their families, and luckily there were no snowball fights!
This happy couple is actually stationed in Alaska so a little snow… no biggie. We wish them safe travels and a happy, long life together.

I’ve just returned home from being in Nashville for about a month. I was working with Louise Mandrell at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel Christmas show (in my other life as a musician).
While I was there Anna found me through a mutual friend and asked me to shoot some family lifestyle portraits of her family who was coming in from Minnesota for Christmas. We had a great time capturing these images in Anna’s new home and around her neighborhood on Christmas Day.
The photo session was a Christmas gift to her family. What a great way to record moments of your life and new adventures. Thanks to Anna for finding me through Facebook and our friends. And best of luck on your new diggs and new job!

And since Sereadia and James live in Nashville and have a wedding coming up in just a few weeks, we thought the Opryland Hotel might just be the right location for their engagement photo session. Killing two birds I think we probably took care of some Christmas photos at the same time.
It was fun photographing this great couple and look forward to doing more in 2011!

I’ve been in Nashville a few days but knew we had an engagement session booked for today. So when I came home I heard we had a small wedding this afternoon. “Wedding,” I said. “I thought it was an engagement session.” Well, Lisa and Gary got a little bit of a wild hair and decided to go ahead and tie the knot! Photos were already in the works. All they needed was a minister!
So here are a few shots from their engagement session/wedding session! There were just enough leaves left of the trees to get some fun colors. Congratulations to the happy couple on their mountain wedding and a note to all their friends and family… surprise!!!

Carmen and Jake are one of our fabulous military couples. We’re so proud to have them come here and appreciative of their service. In fact Jake had to fly out early the morning after to for some Air Force training while Carmen drove back home. “It’s just part of the job,” she said.
We actually have quite a few military couples get married here. Occasionally we’ll get a call saying they need to change the date because they just found out one of them is getting deployed, and we’re always happy to accommodate as best we can. We respect what they do and want to help in every way.
But while they were here the weather was just awesome! Couldn’t have been more beautiful for their mountain wedding.
