  • Stacy Mother of the Bride - I LOVE THOSE PICTURES….thank you to Rick for taking awesome photos i cant wait to see the rest of them…

Kathy and Peter stopped by yesterday for a meeting about their upcoming wedding plans. That gave us an excellent opportunity to walk around the property and get some E-session shots! And they got to test drive our new swing!!!

When we first met Robin and Jeremy we knew they were going to be a fun couple to shoot.  Seems to me their most favorite thing to do is to crack each other up.

Jeremy’s a military guy who’s spent quite a bit of time in Iraq (and we thank you for that), and Robin works at the VA hospital in their home town.  Seems like that would be the story, but somehow an earlier experience at Home Depot had something to do with the equation as well… must be a long story.

At any rate, we had a blast working with this fun couple today.  We’d seen them around the property for a couple of days but gave them their space.  This couple came to Elope to the Mountains, and that they did.  Complete with a few days in our honeymoon suite, romantic dinner for two here on the property, home cooking, a private, intimate ceremony, and some fun photos.

Last I saw them they were on the way to Gatlinburg and they were smiling.  That’s what it’s all about.

The Elope to the Mountains package at Bluff Mountain Inn offers an intimate ceremony, flowers, photography, two nights stay in our honeymoon suite, peace and quiet.

It also gives us lots of extra time to concentrate on the photos, experiment and have some fun capturing the essence of the bride and groom.  We like elopements.  Come during the week so you can enjoy the peace that Bluff Mountain offers.  We’re quite proud of that…

We’re happy that Robin and Jeremy found us online and that we had the opportunity to get to know them just a little.  We wish them the very best.

  • Robin Manon - I just wanted to tell you that every one that has seen the pictures on your website and Pictage’s website, has had nothing but great things to say. Most people think that the pictures look like something out of a bridal magazine, and the back ground looks like a backdrop that doesn’t look real. All of this makes us (my husband and I) very happy. I love them and so does every one that has seen them. I just thought that you would like to know that your work is admired and appreciated. You have a great talent and I honestly think that your photographs are one of a kind. Thank you so much for all that you have done. It really meant a lot to us.

The wedding couldn’t have been better. The grounds and suite that we stayed in were wonderful and very peaceful. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful with anything that we needed. We are definitely recommending your “wedding services” to everyone. We were just floored with the way that everything turned out. The ceremony, the flowers, the room, the food, the cake, the pictures… all PERFECT. Thank you and your staff for making my wedding day/stay so wonderfully PERFECT. Every little girl grows up dreaming of her perfect wedding, and as corny as it sounds, your establishment really did make my dreams come true. I can honestly say that we sing your praises at all times, there was nothing negative about our experience at Bluff Mountain Inn.

    Thanks again and again,

    The New Mrs. Mannon 🙂

  • admin - Thanks for your kind words. It was our pleasure to work with you and share your wedding day!!! -rik

It was a most beautiful day for Jennifer and Andrew’s Wedding.  The trees and flowers are just starting to pop all over the place, and the love of these two showed all day.

As they travel from the Smoky Mountains to the Rocky Mountains for their honeymoon, we wish them safe travels and much happiness in the years to come.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day…

For some reason, this shot reminds me of something you'd see in the Saturday Evening Post. Just a fun candid shot of a happy family.
