I was asked the other day, “why are you shooting this beautiful bride in front of a concrete wall when there’s all this beautiful scenery around?”

Well sometimes when you look through the lens you see something that’s not necessarily in the viewfinder.  This was the case last week when I saw this beautiful light on Kathy and thought I’d like to do something really unique with this image.

I love contrast.  Beauty and grunge, black and white, bright and dark.  The Junkyard Session is a great example of that.

Bottom line is we are constantly striving to create images that will look great on the walls of your home.  Works of art are what we’re out to deliver.

As always, it’s in the eye of the beholder, but here’s what we did with that funky wall…

Sara and Al met in college in VA.  Now they’re engaged and set to be married in July at Bluff Mountain Inn.

Yesterday we took a little trip around the back roads to celebrate their engagement.  Here are some highlights…

So good to see so many old friends at this event.  Many performers from Pigeon Forge theaters, the Triumphant Quartet and many other entertainers.

Christabel and the Jons provided the entertainment for the reception.  What a fun band with a unique sound.  It was a pleasure watching/listening to them and seeing the guests dance and enjoy themselves.
