Well, some people call it trash the dress, or a day after shoot. But whatever you call it, it’s fun.
I met Whitney and Junstin this afternoon (their wedding was last night) at the Sevier County Courthouse. The town was deserted, so we could wander around just about anywhere, and we had a blast. We shot on the courthouse steps, in the middle of the street, on a park bench, in a fountain. Much easier to do when there’s no traffic.
If you’re planning a wedding here, what a great way to take advantage on the dress you’ve planned to wear only one day, but take it to a different dimension. We really don’t “trash” the dress… just abuse it a little 😉
The first image was actually taken on her wedding day, but I just wanted to go ahead and get it out there. Whitney is a music teacher, so we needed a little musical connection for one of her portraits.
See? It really is all about you…

Jessica and Adam were married at Bluff Mountain Inn | RIK Photography | Artistic Wedding / Portrait Photographer ~ Pigeon Forge, TN - […] You know, it’s not a bad idea having two days of photos. This way you can get the casual shots from the e-session, plus the formal and fun wedding shots. Another way to achieve this would to be a day after session. A great example of the day after session would be Whitney. […]
