The first time they met, there was a big game with all their common friends of 10 years, (oddly enough, the two had not bumped into each other until this later date 2 years ago). Paula garbing an Auburn Alabama t-shirt and Scott in his Alabama state, Scott approached this beauty and said, “you’re cute, too bad you don’t know how to dress!” The rest is history.
A week before Christmas in 2008 Scott offered Paula an early Christmas gift. He had her close her eyes and made sure she “really wanted” the gift early…when she opened her eyes Scott revealed the ring and proposed.
Paula and Scott “raised the roof” during their high energy reception and celebration. Scott is in special forces as well as his groomsmen, we are always so thankful to host military weddings.
