The pictures are absolutely gorgeous. You guys did an amazing job with everything and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. Thanks also for getting the license to us so quickly…it actually made it here before we did. We are currently working on which pics we want for what… I’m greedy and want to get all of the pics, for different albums and what not.

I will email you within the next day with the photo for the canvas print.

Here’s the original post…

We’re very proud that so many military couples come here for their weddings. Military families seem to be spread out all over the world, so we’re happy when they decide to meet here for such a special occasion.

Congratulations to the happy couple. Thank you from coming to Bluff Mountain for your wedding and reception. We were happy to have you and your family.

We have such a cool job. Every week we get to spend time with happy people who are sharing one of the most important days of their lives with us. And we get to hear the stories and get to know the families, and they get to know us.

So the story on this shot, as I understand it is; Tom’s grandfather was on a navy ship. While on the ship they had a lot of time on their hands, so these guys figured out how to take a coin and shape it into a ring by hammering on the coin and rolling around the edges (my crude interpretation, but it’s close).

Since Tom’s grandfather couldn’t be at the wedding, he made the two rings below (one from a quarter and one from a dollar), and Tom’s Dad presented the rings to the couple at the reception. Pretty cool stuff. Take a good look at the photo and you can read some of the words from the coin on the inside. Incredible craftsmanship.

The rest of the shots just tell the story of the day. It was a fun story…




I have a feeling Kristi’s done some modeling. She was just too easy to photograph!

Congratulations to Vicki and Joshua. A shedding cherry tree gave Amanda some really nice backdrops for shots. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding.

Congratulations to Jennifer and Joshua on their Wedding Celebration. They had quite a time, including a getaway in a vintage Packard!
