A few months ago I received an email from Sarah telling me about her plans to come to Gatlinburg, rent a cabin and get married there. She wanted a simple wedding with just the families and for us to capture the moments of the event. What a great way to have a wedding.
Sarah and JJ live in Savannah GA and met when she went to take a tennis lesson (JJ is a tennis pro). I’m not sure how her game has improved, but I do know that it led to a great relationship.

Rev. Carolyn Claiborne of Distinctive Wedding Ceremonies was the officiant. It was a beautiful ceremony complete with candlelight.
Their relatives came from all over and spent the weekend celebrating the union of the two families. The ceremony was at sunset on Friday evening on the upper deck of an incredible mountain cabin. Actually, I believe the name of the cabin is Incredible… a name well deserved.

Sarah and her Dad share a moment just before the ceremony.

I loved the color of this beautiful stairway. We took a lot of shots there, but the above is my personal favorite. I think it captures the personalities of these two and their relationship.
Congratulations and best wishes to this happy couple. Best wishes for a long life together, and thanks for asking us to share your day!
